Questions

About the indicator, and about how this site works. If something here is wrong or missing, say so on the board.

The indicator

Which markets and symbols does it work on?

Anything with price and volume data on TradingView — stocks, ETFs, futures, forex, crypto. The diamond condition needs volume, so it behaves poorly on symbols where TradingView has no real volume feed. Spot forex is the usual example.

Which timeframe should I use?

The plan is written around daily bars, and the rules say to exit on a daily close below the invalidation. It will draw on any timeframe, but the risk maths and the exit rule were designed for daily. If you drop to intraday, you are changing the strategy, not just the chart.

Does it repaint?

The plan levels do not, once an anchor is confirmed. "Confirm New Anchor At Candle Close" is on by default, so a green diamond has to close before it freezes Buy 1, Buy 2, Buy 3 and the average — and those numbers never move again until a new qualifying diamond replaces them.

The bar that is still forming can change, as any indicator's current bar can: the adaptive red/green regime is recalculated on every tick until that bar closes. So a diamond that looks like it is appearing mid-session may not be there at the close. Wait for the close.

Do I get updates?

Yes. Access is granted to your TradingView username, so any revision published to the script reaches your charts automatically. You do not need to reinstall anything.

How do I actually get it after buying?

The script is published on TradingView as invite-only. Access is granted to a TradingView username, not an email address, so give the username exactly as it appears on your TradingView profile. It then shows up under Indicators → Invite-only scripts.

What happens if I lose access?

Access is tied to your TradingView account. If you change username, tell us and it can be re-granted — TradingView treats the new name as a different account.

Can I see the source, or use it in my own script?

No. Invite-only scripts are closed source, and access is for your own charting use — not for redistribution, resale or republishing.

This site

Do LINEBOT's numbers match what I see on TradingView?

Buy 1, Buy 2, Buy 3 and the full average should match. Two things can differ:

LINEBOT resolves everything on daily bars and US stock prices here are end of day, so intraday moves are invisible to it. And LINEBOT applies a default invalidation 3% below Buy 3 so that tracked setups can resolve to a win or a loss — the plan says to identify that level yourself, so treat the default as a placeholder.

Why are stock prices delayed?

The free keyless feeds that this server can reach give end-of-day stock data. Crypto is live, from Coinbase. Real-time stock data means a paid subscription, and that has not been added. It is stated rather than hidden because it changes what the site can honestly tell you.

Are the results real, or cherry-picked?

Every setup on the results page was posted with its entry, stop and target before the outcome was known, and closed by the engine against price data — not by the person who posted it. A setup can only score against bars that printed after it was posted, so nothing can be backdated.

Where stop and target both landed inside the same daily bar, it is booked as the loss, because a daily bar cannot say which came first. Setups that never filled score 0R and are excluded from win rate rather than quietly counted as wins.

Why does the win rate show a sample size next to it?

Because a win rate without a sample size is close to meaningless. A 5-for-5 record is noise. Anyone under 10 closed trades is marked provisional and their percentage is greyed out.

Does the scanner tell me what to buy?

No. It marks conditions and draws levels. A green diamond means investigate, and the rules list seven reasons to skip a setup that looks fine on the chart — spread, liquidity, upcoming earnings and so on. The site cannot see any of those.

Does it cost anything to use the site?

No. The scanner, the live plans, the rules, the community board and the results are free and do not need an account. An account only adds posting setups, commenting and notifications.

What do you do with my email address?

Nothing except send the notifications you tick on the account page. It is optional — leave it blank and everything stays in-app. It is never shown on your profile and never sold or shared. There is no marketing list.

Nothing on this site is financial advice — see the risk notice.
